Laser hair growth is a therapy that uses low-level lasers to stimulate the scalp and the hair follicles to help reduce hair loss and promote hair growth.

Research suggests that low-level laser treatment can:

  • prolong the growth phase, anagen, of the hair cycle
  • stimulate follicles in the resting phase, telogen, to transition to the growth phase
  • slow down the transition to the regression phase, catagen

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) currently clears these devices for treating male and female pattern hair loss or androgenic alopecia.

How long does it take for a laser helmet to work?

Results will vary from patient to patient, but you should begin to notice a thicker and fuller head of hair within six months, and the treatment works best with people who suffer from alopecia.

What does the treatment consist of?

The treatment includes needling around the hairline. Followed by High Frequency combing. Followed by a scalp massage with a hair growth serum. Finished off with 25 minutes under the diode laser hair growth helmet. During this time you can have a neck and shoulder  / hand / foot massage. You will also receive a hair growth serum to take home with you.
